The tiny balsamic Moon travels on through Gemini toward her monthly meeting with the Sun, but you may not feel quite as out-going and social as you might otherwise while the Moon is in this typically light-hearted sign.
The final days of the Moon’s cycle are a time of rest and introspection. And Mercury, ruler of Gemini, is now slowing way down in preparation for his second retrograde period of 2019.
Mercury has entered his “storm,” meaning he is traveling forward fewer than 40 minutes of arc per day. You may experience some of the usual Mercury Retrograde issues this week, like digital wonkiness, car troubles, communication snafus, etc. Be sure to back up all your information!
Please don’t fear Mercury Retrograde times. This is a perfect time to tackle your list of “tolerations” — all those little annoying chores that are small enough to put off but add up to constant irritation. For me, that includes the broken switch on the living room lamp, the window blind that doesn’t function right, and the refrigerator that makes occasional puddles on the floor.
Use this time to review and take stock of ongoing projects rather than beginning anything new. Take sensible precautions like digital back-ups and double-checking any written communications. Slow down like Mercury and think before you speak.
