Yet another rabbit hole!

Hi there!

Welcome to my blog. I post daily (more or less) forecasts of the general astrological weather and weekly horoscopes by rising sign. Occasionally I post more in-depth articles about longer term planetary transits.

Sunday, September 1, 2019

You may have come awake with a jolt this morning as your brain races “like a squirrel on crack,” as my friend Salicrow says.

Mercury, the planet of thought and communication, is engaged in an electric but earthy back-and-forth conversation with radical Uranus. You may receive some unexpected news that causes a change of well-thought-out plans, but ultimately in a positive way. Or it could be a cosmic download that brings a sudden leap in understanding.

The Moon moves through the first half of gracious Libra while Venus, ruler of Libra, converses easily with Saturn in Capricorn.

As the Sun sinks low in the sky this afternoon, the Moon runs into brief difficulties with Saturn, who perhaps sets up a roadblock or two. But soon the Moon sails over Saturnian barriers, buoyed by a lively talk with optimistic Jupiter.

Today may not be the most restful Sunday, but you can get a ton of stuff done. With so much emphasis in Virgo, we want to work-work-work! With the Moon in Libra, you might put your efforts toward beautifying your home or garden. Or yourself!

Do you know what tonight would be perfect for? A rigorous but well-mannered debate. Libra loves a good discussion!

Mercury, in his Virgo home, would happily gather facts (not pseudo-facts!) Uranus encourages Mercury to take an out-of-the-box stance. Venus provides decorum, while Saturn helps with boundaries, rules, and guidelines. Just wait until about 8:00 PM EDT, so the Moon is well away from her troubles with Saturn.
