Yet another rabbit hole!

Hi there!

Welcome to my blog. I post daily (more or less) forecasts of the general astrological weather. Occasionally I post more in-depth articles about longer term planetary transits.

Are you feeling better now than you were in June and July? I’ve heard from a number of people about much hardship endured in the last several weeks — accidents, illnesses, deaths, split-ups, all manner of misfortune.

My dear husband caught a terrible virus and had high fever for days, which he hasn’t had in decades. (All better now, thanks!) While I, with several Cancer placements in my chart, have been in hermit mode for months. (Coming out of my shell now, finally!)

Now that much of the planetary action has moved away from the Cancer/Capricorn axis, the energy has lightened considerably.

And Mercury is moving forward! Still in Cancer, yes, but soon to join the Sun, Mars, and Venus in Leo on August 11th. I have definitely noticed a change in my state of mind and my motivation to move projects forward.

If you haven’t felt it yet, that may change today and tomorrow as the Leo Sun moves into a joyous, hopeful, and expansive trine with Jupiter in Sagittarius. The conversation is especially energetic because both the Sun and Jupiter are in their natural fiery homes. Tune into this happy state to lift yourself, like a bright and colorful hot-air balloon, out of the doldrums of past weeks.

As we start our day, the Moon is void-of-course in the final degrees of Libra. She enters watery Scorpio at 11:31 AM EDT. Scorpio Moon can take us deep into introspection, but let the bright Leo vibe pull you out of any emotional swamp you stumble into.

Late in the evening here in the east, the Moon approaches her monthly opposition to Taurus, exact at 10:55 PM EDT. Watch for sudden upsets in relationships, but as always, keep in mind that the Moon moves on quickly and so should you.
