The tired Moon carries on through her Cancer home today as she disappears into the rays of the Leo Sun.
The Moon rules our emotions and Cancer is an emotional place. Since Saturn joined Pluto in Capricorn last year, the Moon’s monthly trip through Cancer has been rockier than usual as she opposes these tough planets. A trine to Neptune between the two oppositions might soften the edges, but deepens the moodiness.
Near midnight the Moon joins with retrograde Mercury, who is practically standing still at 24˚ Cancer as he prepares to turn direct. You may feel sadder and even more nostalgic if you stay up late.
You probably will be like a limp dishrag by the end of the day. Go to bed early and rest up after this draining day. Tomorrow near midnight, the Moon joins with the Sun in Leo to begin a new cycle AND Mercury turns direct, allowing us to make tentative progress.
The Moon goes void-of-course upon her meeting with Mercury at 11:32 PM EDT, resting until she enters Leo at 9:18 AM EDT tomorrow.
